The file '38x38mm IPC/Video Module Mounting Plate (OpenIPC, Goke, Etc) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 419.2KB.

Summary

This is the mounting plate/bracket described in our blog post:

https://subreption.com/blog/fpv-ipc-reverse-engineering/

Mostly interesting for workbench builds of drones, development of OpenIPC and reverse engineering of IP camera modules and similar sensors.

Features:

  • Holds a 38x38mm module (Goke, HiSilicon, etc) together with another 38x38mm module or an extension board using standard pitch/spacing for its mounting holes.
  • Provides four slots for M4 threaded inserts that can be used with binding posts (to route wires to either of the modules with strain relief).
  • Provides a SMA thru-panel (bulkhead) support with recessed face that fits standard SMA bulkhead nuts.
  • Provides a PG7 gland holder to route ethernet and power cabling safely to one of the modules.
  • Has 4 slots for magnets at the bottom, intended for use with a metallic base plate, such as a Sensepeek PCBite kit or a large brass or steel ground plane.

The PG7 gland hole might need sanding or post-processing, tolerances are adjusted tight.

ABS/ASA in heated chamber recommended, but PLA will work, especially carbon fiber-infused filaments (for dimensional accuracy).

Please report any unauthorized resale or commercial distribution. This STL is offered free of charge. We do not provide fabrication services to end-users at this time.
