The file '32mm 10 Model Container – Terrain Cargo Container 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 200.3KB.
Update
Model may print tight for 32mm bases, scaling up to 103% size should fix this, but I want this to work without tweaking scale. I will be modifying the file and re-uploading
Update
I have a massive amount of Necron Warriors (pending paint, working on new scheme). Easily transporting them without a bunch of different boxes has been a thought of mine. Foam is great but can be very frustrating when the small spikes get hooked.
I've had multiple different containers up until now, but none have stacked or packed very well and leave a mess during play. Upon the prompting of Dave I have decided to try to design a 40k-esk freight container that can be used as terrain.
I will be designing half sized containers for characters. I will also be remixing this for 28mm next. If you know of any base sizes this could be useful for please comment and I will add to my build list.
This design DOES NOT require any supports and will print the overhangs easily. It will also apparently hold up 45lbs of static load easily. Both with and without the sliding lid in place (though without lid there is a slight deformation that springs back).
Printing:
There are 4 parts to this build.
32mm - Body : This is the main container and should be printed with the opening facing up
32mm - Lid : This is the sliding lid with a small catch on one end to hold it in place. This should be printed with the rails up.
32mm - Clip Top :
32mm - Clip Bottom : The Top and Bottom are identical. I've included them both just for ease. This are optional and are only used to prevent a slight amount of movement when the lid is in place.
