I used to be an A-10A Crew Chief and the fact that the GAU8 Gattling gun can fire 70 of these 30mm projectiles per SECOND just blows my mind.
The actual empty 30mm shell is pretty easy to find and are pretty cheap. However, if you get one with the actual projectile in it, then the price jumps dramatically.
So, I made my own projectile! Now you can too!
Note: You may have to sand it a bit to make it fit, or possibly print just a little smaller width. I modeled this file after the real thing, so it should be almost an exact replica.
