Sooo.... It prints really good but after spending a week getting this thing ready I "could not" get it to fly good. It's a challenge in itself just to stuff the thing with electronics. I just barely had enough room to get everything in and had to let my power plugs dangle out the bottom, and the servos are super tiny. It does have enough power to fly but I couldn't get it to track straight on the ground long enough for adequate testing, keeps spinning out to the right. I got it to hop twice into the air but the control wasn't great and I crashed it back down. If someone else can get this thing to fly decent, more power to you and I would be absolutely amazed... As it is now, I am abandoning this project and moving to a larger 500 size. This model can not be scaled up or down because of the methods used to create it. This should print fine on an Ender 3 sized machine. I recommend setting speed to 40mm/sec
Print settings are 1 wall, 4 bottom, 4 top, 0% infill for the body. The motor mount mount is different tho. You need to use spiral outer contours option in cura with 8 bottom layers.
It is sized for a 1407 motor with a 3 inch prop, 10 amp tiny esc with a 2s 200mah battery. In this configuration I needed 25 grams of nose weight, (I used steel BBs and poked 2 holes under the front wheel mount to drop them in then dumped some glue up there. That brought the total weight to146 grams.
If anyone attempts to make one of these RC I wish you the best of luck.
