The belt tensioner should be very easy to use, with a low profile M5 screw, a couple o nylock nuts and washers, mount the tensioner on the top of the frame and use any size toothless idler.
This a Z axis carriage for 2040 V-Slot.
To use them you will need M5 low profile screws

-Change position for mounting holes for the left carriage and removed 1 mounting guide for motor spacer.
Update 2
-X Gantry Right v2 should be easier to precisely position, at cost of printing space (depending on you hot-end carriage design).
