The file '3″ Egg Speaker 3D Printer Model' is (curaprofile, stl) file type, size is 564.0KB.
These speaker cabinets are made for general 3" speakers, no ring for the W3-871SC units
Speaker hole size: 73 mm / 2.88 in
Cabinet Volume: approx 1.1 L / 0.038 ft3
Bass Port: 37.5 x 28 mm / 1.47 x 1.10 in - Depth 70 mm / 2.75 in
Printer needs to have minimum 150x150x200mm build area.
included are the cura profile i use, layer height can be changed for better detail, but i recommend max 0.16 for 3", and change line width to match nozzle, i use 0.6mm nozzle and use 0.6 for the 3", use lower line width for smaller nozzle (0.4mm nozzle use around 0.4mm line width)
Set "Z Seam Alignment" to center of you bed's X and Y behind the Egg for the best result, haven't had time to try setting it in the middle of speaker with my new printer
Tap holes for speaker screws, you can always just cut a slit in one screw to use as a Tap, you have to thread the holes or layers will split.
Use Foam Sealing Tape for the best performance.
The small piece of 10mm foam goes in the top and gets held in place between top and bass port, it just have to cover wall behind the port to minimize midrange escaping out the port.
The Feet are printed in Ninjaflex
