The file '3 Axis Laser/CNC/Printer Internal Belt 3D Printer Model' is (rar, stl) file type, size is 1.0MB.
Hi,
take a look at my other designs https://www.thingiverse.com/BuiltBrokenGlued/designs
Updates
22/12/2021
Sorry I didn't realise how long it has been since a up date. I have been using it as a CNC/LASER quite a bit and it is still running ok. I haven't had to do any maintenance on it, just giving it a clean after CNC wood.
The Z axis is complete and works really well with Easel. I'll update the files in due course.
Based on this layout I'm going to be changing to a Lead Screw design. I suspect it will use the 'little' torque of the steppers to give more power and precision to the cuts.
Many thanks

I have made a metal frame work to mount the Project onto. I have adapted the Z axis print to use a metal plate which is stronger than the 3d printed part (0.6mm nozzle was strong enough, printed with 0.4mm nozzle is to weak)
Video and pictures to be added once I have tidied up the area.

I have used this a bit with the laser and the CNC attachment. Only problem... my wood base is not flat enough :)
Im in the process of designing a metal base and I'll be changing the base of the corners to make them bolt down to the metal frame.

I have been using the laser with no issues for a few months on and off. At the moment I have mainly been playing with the laser and learning how to use light burn. Engraving cork, wood, foam and playing with mirrors.
The printed parts are all great and the main X side supports are doing well with no bending that could have caused issues with the Y axis travel.*

V2 frame supports
The V2 frame can be used instead of the original to make the original frame.
The V2 frame allows extrusion to be bolted together then the frame mounts are used to support.
X axis support V2
The V2 support can be used with the original parts
The V2 support is 10mm thick (original 8mm) and also more support for the upper wheel nuts.
The top has been opened up to allow the X axis beam to be lifted out once the mounting screws have been removed.
Added to the RAR files are the wheel supports. These replace the spacers and are glued in place to support the fastening that holds the wheels on. I found the original frame was not supporting the bolt enough and allowed bending.
All STL's are in separate section RAR files.
All STL files need to be increased to 1000% in your slicer to bring them to real size
This is how I have printed all my parts
All the designs are my own
Designed to print on a 200 x 200mm bed.
instructions to follow
This is still a work in progress the main X/Y frame work is done. Z axis requires the stepper mount.

Printed Parts
14/04/2019 below requires updating, however i am sorting out the laser frame at the moment.
I printed all parts in white Goinks Pla I have no link with this company.
Buy a cheap 3,5,7mm drill bit to clean out the holes of the printed parts. It will make assembly much easier.
Printed on my Geeetech pro B I3.
0.6 nozzle at 0.3 layer height
3 walls, 3 top, 3 bottom
adapt as you see fit.
