This is a plastic cap for mounting 2x4 DuPont connector (or two 4x1 connectors, or eight 1-pin connector as seen on the photo) at an edge of a breadboard. Connector(s) should be placed between two 1x4 header inserted into the breadboard and then covered by this cap.
