A desktop vise for holding small items such as printed circuit boards, models, small parts for assembly, etc. The jaws have a maximum opening of 50mm (about 2 inches).
Printable in the orientation shown with no supports. Although the screw is tall and thin, the knob on the end provides sufficient surface area that you should not need a brim.
After printing check the jaw fits in the base and slides freely. Clean up any elephant foot if needed. Insert the screw through the base and screw it through through the jaw. Note that it is a left-handed thread, so turn the opposite to the expected way. The screw is retained in position in the base with an M3x6mm cap head machine screw. Fit it by turning the screw so the hole is aligned with the cutout in the base and screwing it all the way in.
The example in the photos was printed with AMZ3D grey PLA for the base and jaw, and orange PLA for the screw. Shown with an Arduino Nano for scale.
