The file '2AA Battery Box With Switch 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 316.9KB.
A battery box for 2 AA batteries fitted with a slide switch and using common battery contact plates 25 x 12.7 mm and ~15 mm terminal spacing
The photographs show my 1.0 version, which used coutnsunk screws to hold the switch in from above; this required modification of the switch to remove the threads and then countersinking of the holes
Required for assembly
Base & Lid
2 battery contact plates, 25 x 12.5 mm, eg Keystone 5212 One fo the plates should cut in 2 for use at the switch end; alternatively 2 separate plates can be used. I just used some salvaged plates that were in my spares box.
Miniature Slide switch, 19 mm hole spacing with M2 threads, eg Knitter-Switch MFS131D
4 M2 x 6* countersunk screws to secure the lid (*6 mm min, can be 10 mm long), eg , eg M2 CSK Pozi Stainless Steel
2 M6 x 10 countersunk screws for the slide switch (length important), eg M2 CSK Pozi Stainless Steel
Cable to suit intended use (I use a piece of 5m Servo Wire 26awg Futaba JR 3-Pin (with the white cable stripped off)
