Summary

This Fountain might be a good addition to your dungeons and towns. It has several print options. My intent was to create a fountain model that could benefit from some realistic water effects. If enough people request a full printable version, I will create one too.

In my D&D campaign, this is a statue of Wenta (the Alewife), lesser goddess of brewing and harvest. On the first day of spring, farmers toss a few coins in the fountain as an offering and hopefully secure an excellent autumn harvest. The greater the coin value the better the harvest. Offering nothing, or stealing from the fountain could be seen as an affront, and a doomed crop year.

I created the water effect by bunching together several stands of fishing line. I super glued one end of the bunched fishing line into the barrel spout. The other end was super glued to the floor of the fountain. I used two-part clear epoxy resin for the water in the fountain. I also poured a little resin the fishing line. Right before the epoxy was set, I stirred it with a toothpick to create some ripples.

This is a remix of pieces from dutchmogul, Talismancer, and myself.
Enjoy!
