2.5 INCH SSD HOT SWAP TRAY
Make a 2.5 inch SSD hot swap tray. You'll need this model, a female SATA power plug and a SATA data plug as pictured. The hard part is already done. The power connector is angled up at 3.5 degrees for the SSD to reality slide into the tray. This angle is already part of the model.
The parts snap together. Be sure to orient the plugs so that the "L" notches face each other. Angle in the top cover at the cable side then push the front of the cover till it snaps into place.
A small screwdriver can pry the top off at the side cutouts.
This model can be easily incorporated in your own design and built for the cost of PLA and some spare connectors.
This model has only been tested to fit the connectors in the picture. Others might work. A small model to test your connectors is included.
