Release of the new Version. Incompatible with the old.
Should offer better cooling including the ability to add cooling fans.
The door requires 2mm rod to for the hinge and magnet/washer to keep it closed.
1 Unit can can either take single 3.5" or 2x 2.5" drives. If you mount the 2nd Sata adapter a 3.5" disk won't fit until it's removed.
1 Unit will take 2x40mm Fans
2 Unit will take 1x80mm Fan
3 Unit will take 1x120mm Fan
An addition of a thin mesh dust filter is possible (Example in pictures)
WARNING: This design is not finished, and not tested. The mount might not work at all. And the back "plate" is not yet designed.
This is a hot-pluggable caddy HDD design mount, with the ability to bind multiples together.
The idea is to use a Male to female sata adapter (https://goo.gl/yJS595) as the interface between the Cables and the HDD, so that it can be plugged and unplugged without messing around with the cable, similar to products that you can commercially buy.
