Summary

This is a simple flashlight that is a single piece, prints with no support, and is compatible with a wide range of 5mm through hole LEDs (leg lengths of 22mm-29mm).

You'll need a regular through hole 5mm LED and a CR2032 battery to assemble this flashlight.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Bend the LED legs outward to form a V shape ~30 degrees.
  2. Insert the LED legs-first so the legs stick out of the battery slot.
  3. Align the LED with the center groove
  4. Rotate the LED so the longer leg is on top and the shorter leg is on the bottom (the side without any openings).
  5. Push the LED all the way in.
  6. Insert the CR2032 battery all the way in. Make sure the LED legs don't get caught by the battery.

Operation:
Pressing the LED leg onto the battery should turn the LED on.

Releasing the LED leg should disconnect the LED from the battery and turn the LED off.

Pressing the LED leg and shoving it to the side under the wedge should hold the LED leg in contact with the battery keeping the LED on without having to hold the leg down.
