This will allow a 1" flashlight ( usually has 3 AAA batteries inside ) to clip in securely. The base is approximately 3/4 tall so you can get your fingers under the flashlight to remove it.
There are 2 files, 1 has a solid base, the other has two .25" hole through the base, .5" apart. They can be top mounted ( .25 deep x .3 dia screwhead allowance ) or bottom mounted.
I designed it to go with the Ford Maverick center consol trays ( in my profile ) but could be used anywhere you can fasten them.
