Summary

This is a low-mid power ~1/9 scale model of the French anti-ship missile the MM38 Exocet. It is based off LOC-Precision 38 mm motor mount/body tube. The included files are for a 24 mm motor tube (LOC), though you could use 29 mm as well.

The centering rings and nose cone bulkhead are 1 mm thick, scale the z axis in your slicer to get your desired thickness. The real missile has a bevel to the rear (steering) fins. This can easily be accomplished with some sanding (ABS and ASA sand nicely), however if you are going to sand I would highly suggest printing this piece 100% infill so you don't expose infill. I made this using open rocket, so its fins on transitions with shoulders. You will need a 20 cm (forward) and 16 cm (rear) piece of the 38 mm tubing to complete this. I included an open rocket sim file - note the 35+ g of nose weight required with an E/F composite motor.

On the real missile there is a cable covering on 2 sides that starts just above the cone shape in the rear fin can, and goes about 3/4 the length of the body. I just used 1/8 x 1/4 basswood and sanded the ends to re-create this. An afterthought was the fin detail (labeled triangle fin detail) that is roughly centered on the forward fins. You could use rail buttons or guides, I liked the look of these: https://www.printables.com/model/532794-1010-conformal-launch-lug-and-rail-buttonlaunch-lu and used the guide option since this will be low/mid lower for me.

Edit: This needs more nose weight than open rocket seems to indicate is actually needed, so be sure to do a swing test before flight (or it may just cruise sideways, like the real thing is intended to do).
