LED Christmas Decoration. I've loads of old 18650 batteries so decided to made this. You can use this powered by 18650 battery or through a USB cable.
Print two of the christmas trees, they will be glued together after the components are in. There's a cut out for a 2mm led in the star and space for one or more larger LEDs in the tree itself. I've used a 3mm colour changing LED for the tree and a 2mm warm white LED for the star. I've used 1k resistor to tone down the brightness slightly.
The battery holder is printed and paper clips bent to fit the cutouts on the holder and are used as the contacts. I've then added a blob of solder to the top to contact with the wires from the tree. They make contact when the lid (with completed trees) is closed onto the battery holder.
