Summary

18650 battery case I designed from scratch, none of the other cases on here were really what I was looking for so I made this one. It has a sliding top lid that is held in place by the chamfers. If you want it to hold slightly better you can put some magnets in the holes that are in the design. They are set to fit 3/16"x1/10" disc magnets. I used N52 Grade and found that 2 magnets was plenty, and it is still quite nice with just one.

I have several different brands of batteries and this fits all of them quite nicely. (I found during the prototype process 18650s vary in diameter quite a bit.)

If I make another case for different batteries or hold a different amount I will upload it as a remix.

I will also give the step file to you if you want to play around with the design yourself.

Some light sanding of the tubes was required to get a proper fit of the batteries, but this is most likely due to my printer/ settings.

Part 1 is the main body, part 2 is the lid
