ive been collecting 18650 batteries for a while and ive got a good size collection. i started building battery packs but i never had good luck with spot welding, so i tried soldering the batteries direct to a wire. the problem is that when a battery goes out and degrades the pack you have to desolder the entire group to test each cell. i got sick of doing that so i researched solderless battery holders but i wanted something larger than stacking individual cases together so i designed this 30 battery tray that bolts the batteries top to bottom sandwiching them between strips of copper to make the cells.
