This is a 17mm ball mount for a radio head unit that takes an M5 bolt. This works for the Yaesu FT-891 and Yaesu FTM-500 (and many others). Alternatively, attach a 17mm ball to just about anything that can accept an M5 bolt.
Requires a tap drill or brute force to thread the hole.

Suggested bolt is M5x15 with a 9mm or less diameter head.
WARNING: Please carefully check your radio manual for acceptable maximum depth of the head unit bolt. 10mm of thread is used in the print. The rest is inside the radio.
