This year's project called for a 54mm quarry loco so...
Not a true and accurate scale model, I probably have made many mistakes in the project, but it looks good running.
Using Greatlittletrains' model as a base I up-scaled, strengthened and adjusted to fit the Hornby 0-4-0 'pocket rocket' chassis..
Cab interior and skirts were from aendsor, again adjusted to fit.
The base is printed top down, and the end coupling hooks removed from the Hornby chassis to fit. once printed and fitted cut the coupling upright to length.
The chassis is printed upside down with a brim and the top printed right way up, again with a brim.
Images are the first print prototypes in plain plastic, half-painted and almost finished with various pipes etc fitted.
I haven't printed pipework out as it varies from loco to loco. to finish your chosen model you'll need to google it's name and then fit pipework etc.
