This design is made for 1.82mm thick acrylic sheet sold at Home Depot and Lowes. I have included the original sketchup file so you can tweak the design to match acrylic of a different thickness.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Print out the pdfs on standard US letter 8.5 x 11 inch paper. The measurements are in mm so double check to make sure your printer hasn't resized the pdfs. These will be your templates for cutting the acrylic. Part A, B, and C need to be taped together to form the long rectangle piece used in all three of the sides.
Cut the acrylic.
You can use an acrylic cutting knife sold in the same isle as the acrylic sheets. I prefer to use a scroll saw. TIP... If you use a scroll saw, place blue painters tape on both sides of the acrylic sheet centered above the cut line. If you don't, the acrylic will melt and fuse back together.
Use the reference model to assemble all pieces. Use super glue to hold everything together.
