My other boxes in this series:
General purpose empty hinged box Thing 3644340
Various partitioned boxes with trays Thing 3649139
The boxes have a large area in contact with the print bed which can encourage lifting of the edges and warping of the print. Ensure that you have a good coat of adhesive on the print bed. If you have a heated bed then it should be hot. I use 50c for PLA, 80c for PETG and 90c for ABS.
The hinge pins have 0.5mm tolerance. I found that printing in PLA caused the hinges to stick however they can be freed easily with a bit of gentle force. The hinges print well in PETG or ABS (recommended).
The box is designed not to require support. Do not use support as it may clog the hinges,
0.25mm layer hight is recommended.
The catch is designed to be secure so that the box does not open accidentally. You may need to adjust the catch with a file or sandpaper if it is too tight for your requirements.
