The LZ-3 was a 1906 German experimental airship. Only 1 was ever built and used mostly as a transport for royalty and other important people. Declared obsolete, it was scrapped in 1913. with a maximum speed of 45 mph and 2 84hp engines, it was significantly faster than it's predecessor, the LZ-2.
NOTE: this airship never carried planes though I did put some onto my model just for fun. The aircraft type is a rough model of Junkers D.1 from 1917. So, if you are looking for a precise model, do not print and attach the planes.
