The file '120mm Modular Hard Drive Bay 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 129.7KB.
After designing (and still not yet printing) the 240mm hard drive bay, I decided it would be easier and faster to make a modular version.
This is designed to be installed vertically, where the weight of the drives is resting on the shelf at the bottom. Since the weight is supported by the shelf, you always want to install drives bottom to top.
The HDD Bracket can be attached using fan screws to the Fan Frame. Hard drives can be attached with the usual hard drive screws (the final model has a slot, so you won't have to drill the holes like I did 😉)
The fan is optional, but ideally it would be used for actively cooling the hard drives.
