Testing this in a pull config to replace 2x 40mm fans (in pull) in a PoE switch.
It's a snug fit around the unit, the top could use a little more meat, but i didn't want to interfere with any units placed above it.
Tape is there to make sure the air gets sucked in through the switch instead of past the duct.
Edit: running "production" now, it works ridiculously well and is very quiet. I have another switch on the other floor with a thin 120mm fan, this will probably be sufficienttly cooled with an 800 rpm fan. YMMV based on workload
Could not find a quiet 1u 120mm fan mount for switches or rack servers. This is meant as a universal clamp fit for the front or side of a rack.
This version has longer lips to fit over the rack unit and a narrower mouth to fit my specific purpose
Dimensions:
121mm x 130mm (fan side
46.4mm (outside) 44mm (inside) x 130mm (designed to fit around a rack unit and be clamped or stuck on with double sided tape)
