The file '1/10 Scale 22re Turbo Kit 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 18.8 MB.
Over the weekend I was staring at my 1/10 scale rotary engine sitting next to my 1/10 scale 22re and I remembered that I had previously seen a boosted 22re at the track one day. I immediately started researching turbo kits for the 22re. I came across the LCE performance low pressure turbo kit for the non-turbo block.
I then started the design process of the exhaust manifold and the header pipe. After a few test prints, for scale, I then made sure the 1/10 scale rotary engine turbo was compatible with the header and the engine. After a few minor tweaks this monster was born.
I used m2x4mm to attach the turbo manifold to the exhaust manifold. The bearings for the 2mm turbo shaft are 5x2x2mm. Everything else is held together with 1.5mm self tapping screws.
I like it because it adds a little uniqueness to the motor.
