My friend and I are making an SLA printer and I thought I would share what we have so far with the internet. Once it's done (and if it works) then I'll go more in-depth and make some better instructions, we might also make an assembly video or something. You don't need to get the exact items below, eg you could get longer linear shafts and a longer lead screw if you want. I am happy to answer any comments and If you could point out flaws in the design it would be much appreciated because I'm only 14 and me and my friend are sort of just pulling random designs out of our heads and not doing much research.
As some of you may have noticed, recently, I haven't been posting many updates. This is because I have been doing many other projects along with school and work so the printer has been set aside for a while. earlier this year we got everything hooked up, only to find that the motor wouldn't move. We found that it was because the raspberry pi wasn't outputting the 'step' signal to the motor. I reinstalled NanoDLP and tried again but it still didn't work, neither of us wanted to invest another $50 into it so it has just been sitting on my desk half done for a few months.
