Insert for exhaust bushings for 2009-2011 BMW 335d replacing OE part # 18307811949.

After working on a few of these cars, these bushings always seem to be in a deteriorative state, this is the only support for the exhaust system past the diff mount until the "DPF".

I have two versions posted, a solid, single piece that installs directly into the housing of the original bushing, and a two piece design that has flanges on both sides to fully encapsulate the insert.

I recommend the solid single design with low infill and 1mm wall thickness.

Installation Instructions (Solid):
Remove bushing from exhaust system, cut out any protruding rubber from the inside of the mount until you have an hollow shape. Press in the insert from either side, when installed under the vehicle, the flange side should face the exhaust.

Installation Instructions (Split Style):
Remove bushing from exhaust system, cut out any protruding rubber from the inside of the mount until you have an hollow shape. Press in both parts from either side, the two rectangular slots are for a 5mm zip tie to retain both pieces in the assembly. These are optional but recommended.

Please let me know if any changes are needed, or feedback, as of right now 11/11/24, they are working fine with no audible squeaking or noise.
