This is a 0.2 mL PCR tube magnetic tube rack. It's great for DNA/RNA separation using paramagnetic beads (e.g. SPRI & AMPure) of varying ratios. It is primarily used for Nanopore long-read sequencing library preparation (single tube) in our lab and works well as can be seen in the image. When looking down the length of the rack you can see how clear the supernatant is and therefore how well beads have pelleted.
It uses the custom magnets used from Thing: 79430 (creator: acadey). The magnet specs are:
